some of my photography

hello everyone!! welcome back. this is my second blog post ever. i’m still learning everything about it. i have a goal for this blog. to post as many pictures as i can. the pictures i had on my last post were my animals but i did not take them. my sister took the picture of my cat and my guinea pigs photo was off his adoption website. i am waiting until i get a better camera (right now all i have is my phone) but until then you’ll have to look at my low quality photos. but that’s okay. the photos i will be showing you today were taken from my phone and with a macro lense attached. the macro lense is very blurry until you get super close to something then it blurs the background and focuses on the center. i went outside one day to take some photos and i found a grasshopper so i used my macro lense to take pictures of it up close. if you don’t like huge bugs on your screen i’m sorry. before i took this i misted the plant he was sitting on with water to make it look nicer. you can see how the macro lense blurs the background and focuses on the center in this picture really well. this isn’t the only picture i took with my macro lense. i also took  one of just the plant and it has so much detail.

 i enjoy this photo a lot because it has so much detail and the water droplets make it really cool. this is my style of photography and it’s different but it’s really cool to see what i can make with it. i just wish i had my lenses when i went to Florida over the summer. imagine all the weird and cool pictures i could’ve taken there



i also have a very simple style of photography. i mostly take photos to document what i did that day. i will show you pictures like those too. but first you get a story. my aunt brought to her “backup house” which is just an apartment in downtown and we took photos from the roof of downtown. it was really cool. we were going to go see my uncles helicopter on top of the hospital but he flew to iowa city so we couldn’t. i could’ve gotten some awesome photos there. anyways from the top of the apartment building i took these.

i really like the clouds in this photo. i took a lot more like this but i thought this one was one of th best. i took some panoramic photos too which i think are pretty neat. they give the photos this cool curvy shape. i’ll show you one of those too.


i think this one is pretty neat because it’s a vertical panoramic photo. this was actually the first time i took a picture like this. personally this one is not my favorite but it is pretty cool to see everything in one photo.
